This is the most common partridge in Europe, and is found throughout the Beyond region. The coloring is quite different from the rock partridge, with an orange face and throat, grey breast and brown back. Juveniles tend to be a mottled brown, with a lighter tan underside.

Habitat

prefers open farmland, fields and sand dunes.
