A protected plant, in the Red Book (Livre rouge) of Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur.
This 7-Leaf Cardamine grows in shady beech woods and has a cluster of pale flowers on top of a single tall stalk with large leaves.

Size.
60 cm (medium)
Flower Blossom.
4 petals; 14-20 mm. White, pale pink or pale violet.
Leaves.
The leaves are lanceolat, toothed, and stalked. There are sometimes 5 leaves per stalk, in spite of the name.
Habitat.
Woods, especially beech woods; chalk and clay soils. We photographed our cardamines at 900 m in a shady hillside-valley woods near the Col de Vence.
