This pale-yellow or deep-yellow flower has from 1 to 30 flowers radiating in an umbrel-like cluster on the end of the stalk.

Apr-May.
Size.
5-30 cm (low-short)
Flower Blossom.
The petals are joined into a tube, with 5 notched lobes. The long, green calyx is twice as long as the yellow petals.
Leaves.
The basal leaves are long ovals, very roughly wrinkled, and hairy all over.
Habitat.
Fields and pastures, open woodland.
