The Bloody Crane's Bill is an herb, with palmately-lobed leaves and 5-petal flowers. The fruit has five single-seed portions.

Flowers. June-Aug.

Size. 50 cm (medium)

Flower Blossom. 5 petals.

Habitat. Dry forests, dry grassy areas, brush. They tend to grow in chalky soil, and like a lot of heat.
