The wild jasmine is, unfortunately, not scented. It grows as a thin evergreen shrub with 4-angled stems.

Flowers. Apr-June.

Size. 3 m (v-tall)

Flower Blossom. 12-15 mm. The yellow flowers are 12-15 mm across, with the petals shaped into a shallow cup.

Leaves. Oval to rounded lance-shaped leaves are alternate, and usually trifoliate with a longer end leaf.

Habitat. Woodlands, riverbanks and scrub.
