The single-size hut borie, "Baumettes", is located in the Les Baumettes area of the Plateau de Calern, about 2.5 km northwest of the CERGA observatory's Laser dome.

The stones are rather loosely fitted, seeming more jumbled that the fine stonework of some other bories, probably indicating that this is a relatively newer structure.
The CERGA Observatory moon laser is the most northerly structure of the observatory.
