The Parc MiniFrance has a large number of miniatures (1/100th and 1/50th scale) of many of France's most famous sites located in a park setting. Here are some photos of just a few of the miniatures. Most stand about knee-high to waist-high; the Eiffel Tower is about 3-4 meters (my estimate).
Parc MiniFrance [was] near Brignoles in the Var (roughly half way between Aix-en-Provence and Frejus), 5 km east of Brignoles, by the N7 highway, at the ZAC Nicopolis.
The models were made by the "Compagnions" around 1985.
The MiniFrance parc was open for about 4 years when we visited, in Feb of 2001. In April 2003, a Swiss family tried to find the place, to be informed it had closed about a year before (thanks Judith).
Sad that it's gone. We're leaving this page on-line because we think the models are still interesting, even if they can no longer be visited.
