Murs [map D2]
Murs is a great off-the-beaten-path place to stay. The village is lovely and unspoiled. It's located just north of the Luberon mountains at the western edge of the Vaucluse mountains. Very close to the very touristique (and lovely) Gordes and the Senanque Abbey.

"The Chambre d'Hôtes is located 2 miles out of the village of Murs and is run by a very nice friendly couple in the early forties, they have two lovely kids and a dog. The whole ambiente is really special, very tasteful decorated rooms and the food (they offer breakfast and dinner) is worth at least one star in the Michelin. Believe me, I'm not kidding, go out there and check it out.
The house has at least four double rooms and one gîte and lies at the end of the famous Gorges de Veroncle. You can practically start your hikes strait away from the breakfast table."
