Regular car-ferry service is provided from the old port of Nice to Corsica and other destinations. One of the newer ferries is the "NGV" (Navire Grande Vitesse), the nautical variation of the TGV high-speed train (photo), which currently runs during good weather only.

SNCM - Ferryterranee
Ferry service to Corsica, Sardinia, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Corsica-Italy.
Beginning Nov 1999, SNCM has a winter service of the high-speed "NGV" boat between Nice and Corsica, with three round-trips every weekend. From 26 Mar 2000, the daily summer schedule resumed.

The "blue"-"red" days relate to seasonal days, with "red" being peak days (such as a weekend in August) and "blue" being an off-season day (such as a mid-week day in the winter).
